HEALING VOICES FOR PEACE JUNE SPAIN.png

HEALING VOICES FOR PEACE

Imagine a group of normal Israelis celebrating life in the company of a group of Arabs.
Envision Ukrainians, cut off from their homeland, singing in unison with Russians, tears streaming down their faces.
Or even MAGA Trump supporters and far left progressives, opening their hearts to one another in circle.

Everyday people around the world care deeply about the horrific effects of global conflict, while our politicians have proven again and again that they have no vested interest in creating a lasting peace.

Conflicts such as these are deeply routed incollective ancestral trauma carried through generations, manifested in the extremism ofthe current geopolitical scene.
We find ourselves indoctrinated from birth, led to believe that our safety and identity depend on the villainization of another group of people.

The reality is that there are enough resources in our world for every human being to be living in abundance, and we must now take our power back and do our part to accelerate healing and understanding if we are ever to reach our shared goal of peace.

It’s time to rise up.

The new revolution will not happen on the streets, it is happening in the hearts of millions of people who are waking up to the shared truth of our humanity.

Healing Voices for Peace cuts directly to the source of so much suffering in our world,
creating an outlet for difficult emotions between groups of people who are most
marginalized by modern acts of war and violence.

Our weapon? Our weapon is YOUR voice.

There is a diaspora of people from these war-torn regions who have escaped, living far
from their homeland, disconnected from their families and culture, and feeling hopeless.

How can we heal trauma that is generational, nestled deep into the bodies and psyches
of millions of people?

Groups of 20-40 individuals from regions of conflict are invited into a tranquil retreat
setting. A series of workshops are facilitated focused on the empowerment of individual
voices through singing and somatic activation.

There is no political discourse. No debates. We simply sing and move together, slowly
opening up the communication centers of the mind and body, resulting in a profound
expression of the truth that runs through all of us – we have all been hurt, and we are
ready to heal.

The healing power of music is well studied. Music holds a profound ability to reach deep
into our souls, elevate our spirits, and mend what feels broken. But can music truly
serve as medicine?

Music becomes a sanctuary for those carrying the weight of heavy emotions, offering
solace in times of struggle.

On a physical level, its transformative power calms the body, easing stress and enhancing mental clarity.

On an emotional plane, music becomes a vessel for expression—allowing grief, fear and sorrow to surface, only to be gently reshaped into hope and resilience.

We have created a safe, loving world-class retreat environment where people can
slowly open their bodies and minds, unleashing their authentic voice and connecting to
each other without words.

The results are palpable.

The tears that fall are beyond stories, beyond our conscious knowing of where they come from. We cry and laugh and dance and heal. We create a new tribe based not on borders and politics, but firmly rooted in our shared longing for peace.

This medicine is accessible to anyone who feels the call. It’s beyond language and culture. We return to the original thread of humanity that connects us all - sitting in circle
and singing.

Our retreats culminate after 3 days with an event open to the public, where we invite
others to join our energy field to magnify it even more.

As people arrive into the event space, they are welcomed into a guided movement meditation, followed by the sharing of a ceremonial cacao drink.

Then the live band begins to play, made up of a rotating cast of global musicians from regions of conflict.

The music is purely improvisational, channeled from the audience into the musicians,
a co-creation of sound and dance that is different every time.

As the music builds to a crescendo, massive waves of emotions ranging from joy to sorrow are released, and as the music begins to slow back down, we fall into a collective silence, bathing in the peace we have generated together.

What happens at a Healing Voices For Peace retreat?

When is this happening?

The first iteration of Healing Voices for Peace will take place in Orgiva,
Spain from 12-15 June 2025.

We are inviting 6 Israelis, 6 Arabs, 6 Ukrainians and 6 Russians to participate.
The entire experience is gifted to the participants at no financial burden to
them.

The entire retreat will be filmed for a documentary, harvesting the healing power
and spreading the energy around the world.

Future retreats will be targeted at different groups of people most affected by global
